Both Balenciaga and Dior's FW08 shows were 60's inspired, but in reallyyy different ways. while Ghesquiere's take is extremely fashion forward, modern, and "austere" as he likes to put it, Galliano's is the exact opposite. Attempting to make a more commercial collection - a trend which recently made Dior's profit soar- the runway reviews are far from soaring.
